Rediscovered - Nfu Oh Shiny Opal #45

Currently, all my nail polishes are at my boyfriend's house because I am going to be moving in with him soon and I've been spending a lot of time there (hence not having many makeup tutorials because my makeup is at my parents house). So without further ado, lets get on to the swatches

I know there is quite a bit of hype going around at the moment about flakey finish polishes from Nfu Oh. Recently I rediscovered my collection of these beauties. As orange is one of my favorite colours, I thought I'd pull out this one and show it off first.

NFU #45 has orange fine opal particles in a medium orange jelly base. The jelly base also has more of a glitter to it than other Shiny Opal polishes, this shows up more when the polish is applied over black. The opal particles reflect gold and red depending on how the light hits it.

When applied over black, NFU #45 takes on a look of molten lava that is beginning to harden. The pictures above show the gold and red reflection of the opal particles a little better. When a matte top coat is applied over this black and orange opal combination, the nails look similar to Scrangie's matte Fortune Teller Halloween nail

Currently Nfu Oh is only distributed though one company here in Australia. If you like the look of this polish, try searching Google for your nearest seller or you can try your luck on eBay.
