Hey guys,
So today I thought I would share with you my nail polish collection and how I currently store it. Currently my nail polish collection resides on the wall next to my bed in a nail polish/nail art rack that my boyfriend (we'll call him "S" from now on) built for me. I am intending to paint it a matte black within the next few weeks or so.
This thing is seriously HUGE. Its 1.8m high and 1.4m wide and fits 34 China Glaze nail polishes on one row. There are 15 shelves on this thing so that means that 510 nail polishes fit in this rack. As you can see, I don't own 510 nail polishes currently so this gives me room to grow.
On the top shelf of the rack I have all my striping polishes and foil glues. Most of the striping polishes I own are by Art Deco but I have a few other brands in there. They are arranged in a rainbow which is how I like them when they are on display. It also helps when I want to find a certain colour. I'll list photos and names of the colours of my nail polish when I do a nail art collection post.
On the next shelf and the one below it, I store all my nail art foils. After seeing how many foils I had and how small they were, "S" created a shelf divider for my foils so I could put twice as many foils on one shelf so I don't waste too much space, he's going to have to make another one because I will most likely expand my nail foils collection. I purchase all my foils from Dollar Nail Art and you can see swatches of them by going to my Updated Foil Collection post or by clicking the page link at the top of my blog.
On the bottom shelves I have my base coats, top coats and treatments (which will not be shown in this post) and also my loose glitters.
Now we get on to the fun part, the nail polishes. Like with my striping polishes, I arrange my nail polishes by colour from lightest to darkest.
