Today's foil will be Diamond Red which I purchased from Dollar Nail Art.
I purchased this with my own money and this post is in no way sponsored by Dollar Nail Art.
Like most of my red foils, I like to apply Diamond Red over China Glaze "Salsa" (swatch here) which is a medium blue based red creme.
To learn how to apply foils, please follow the link to my the start of my Introduction to Nail Foils series where I have a video on how to apply foils and links to basic swatches of all the foils I own.
Diamond Red is a blue based red foil with a diamond pattern similar to that seen in Gold Crush along the entire length of it. The diamond patter reflects pink, blue and purple depending where the light hits it creating a pretty holographic effect. To see this foil in use please check out 's blog post here

Beautiful holographic glossy awesomeness is all I have to say about this foil! I wore this out on a really sunny day and couldn't help but stare at the colours dancing across my nail. You can see a few gaps where the foil didn't apply to the nail properly in the macro photo but they didn't appear that band in real life. a gorgeous colour and a different twist on the classic red nail
