Foil Focus Friday: White Marble

Hey Guys,
Welcome back to my Foil Focus Friday series, weekly posts featuring foils in my collection. Today's foil will be White Marble which I purchased from Dollar Nail Art.

I purchased this with my own money and this post is in no way sponsored by Dollar Nail Art.

Another foil that is exactly what its name suggests, White Marble is a white based foil with a soft brown marble veining through it. It isn't really that impressive as it reminds me of floor tiles, not something I'd really want on my nails lol.

A white creme finish polish is the best thing to go underneath this foil. I like to use China Glaze "White on White" because it is the most opaque white that I have

..:: ITEMS USED ::..
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
China Glaze "White On White" (one coat)
Nail art foil adhesive (www.dollarnailart.com)
"White Marble" nail art foil (www.dollarnailart.com)
Kami Nail Art Sealer
China Glaze Patent Leather Top Coat

To learn how to apply foils, please  follow the link to my the start of my Introduction to Nail Foils series where I have a video on how to apply foils and links to basic swatches of all the foils I own.

Cool. I bet this could make a good base for stamping. Ever tried stamping over a foil?

Yes I have, I would recommend putting a coat of foil sealer between the foil and stamped image because the topcoat you use over the stamping may cause the foil to wrinkle and shrink. Let me know if you try it :)
